Widen the whole route instead of building single bays

I understand the problem, but bays every 300 metres may only be a partial fix: if two cargo bikes meet between two bays, the problem remains.

I suggest considering a uniform widening of 60-80 cm along the whole route. It would cost more, but it would be a permanent solution requiring no waiting manoeuvres.

It would help to know from the Municipality how much roadside margin is actually available before ruling this out.
